Dr. Avinash Bissoon has been a pediatrician for over 18 years. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of the West Indies.
He is a Member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in England, having completed his United Kingdom-based exams in October 2016, putting him on the Specialist Pediatric Register with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
Having completed a degree in Pediatric Growth and Nutrition with the Boston University Hospital. Dr. Bissoon implements a lot of these guidelines into his management of patients, recognizing the importance of good nutrition at all stages of life.
He is a certified Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor and trains doctors and nurses in newborn resuscitation. He is involved in the education and training of junior doctors and has participated in administering clinical examinations to medical students.
Dr. Bissoon has a keen interest in developmental and growth assessments from birth, recognizing the importance of early detection of possible problems for a better outcome.
Evidence-based, patient-centered care is his motto.

Biography
Dr. Gooding-Dilbar has over ten years of professional service in the pediatric field and has attained a wealth of knowledge and experience whilst working at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. She holds a Doctor of Medicine in Pediatrics postgraduate degree and currently works as a Registrar assigned to the pediatric clinics and the neonatal ICU. She has rotated through the general pediatric wards, developmental clinics, emergency department and a number of subspecialty clinics including pediatric neurology, nephrology, gastroenterology, dermatology, endocrinology and cardiology.
She is kind and compassionate and prides herself in providing the highest quality care to all her patients encompassing emotional, psychosocial and physical aspects of health to ensure their holistic well-being.
Dr. Gooding- Dilbar offers antenatal counselling sessions to expectant parents. These aim to address parental concerns, adequately prepare parents on what should be expected in the peri-partum and post-partum periods, especially for high- risk pregnancies and offer tips and techniques to optimize successful breastfeeding from the onset.
